TRANSLATION DEVICES

  • ShowTrans is a state-of-the-art customer service that provides multilingual scene-by-scene commentary of a theatrical production for the non-English speaking audience. ShowTrans is not a word-for-word translation of the show. The system gives the patron plot information that enables them to follow the action of the show. Commentary is available in Japanese, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, French, and Korean. Not all shows will offer all languages. Rental fee is $10 per receiver. ID must be provided. For advance reservations, call 212-397-2700.
